Adam Mills is a writer and teacher currently based in Lawrence, KS. He is working toward a PhD in Creative Writing and Literature and the University of Kansas. He previously gained an MFA from the Stonecoast Program at the University of Southern Maine, studying under the likes of Scott Wolven, Elizabeth Hand, Nancy Holder, David Anthony Durham, and James Patrick Kelly. His work can be found in publications such as Ideomancer and the Thackery T. Lamsbhead Cabinet of Curiosities (eds. Ann and Jeff VanderMeer). He has taught a variety of English classes, including creative writing and composition, at universities and community colleges alike. Interests include creative writing pedagogy, narratology, short fiction, fantasy and science fiction, weird fiction, mythology, comic books and graphic narratives, and experimental/nonlinear narratives. He is also an editor for the World Fantasy Award-nominated webzine Weird Fiction Review, where he regularly conducts interviews and reviews featured work, among other duties.
